Is a virtual school return an option? Rumors are circulating, confirmed by two Dallas ISD staffers, that the school district is looking at how to provide virtual learning given the rapid spread of coronavirus’ Delta variant.
Governor Abbott recently requested out of state staffing assistance despite denying the same request by Dallas area hospitals only last week.
It is unclear when or if Dallas ISD will implement virtual learning, but sources do point towards plasnning for this contigency.
Last week Frisco ISD made virtual options available to students and this week Plano and Richardson ISD’s quickly followed the same pattern.
