Townview Health’s Giselle Chapa is headed to Harvard University on scholarship for the 2022-2023 school year per a Twitter post earlier this week.
It is unclear if Chapa will receive a parade or any commendation from Dallas Independent School District‘s Board of Trustees. They have repeatedly made efforts to recognize South Oak Cliff’s football team.
Chapa is planning on becoming a physician when she completes her studies in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We have reached out to Townview to learn what area of focus Ms. Chapa hopes to pursue after college and medical school.
On a related note, an alumni from Townview’s Science and Engineering campus Class of 2021 is being honored for putting together a baseball nonprofit for children with cancer.
