We need your support during the 2020 North Texas Giving Tuesday Now event. Like many nonprofits in the Dallas/Fort Worth area we are part of the annual charitably day of giving and support for local nonprofits.

Our Guidestar profile gives us a Gold star for excellence in transparency and administration of donor funds. The Board of Directors is proud to have earned this distinction as it speaks volumes to donors about our stewardship of their dollars.

While we were originally created to support the Townview SEM campus we have now provided support to multiple campuses within the Yvonne Ewell Magnet Center.

History of North Texas Giving Tuesday

The Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Tuesday is an 18-hour online giving event designed to empower every person to give back to their community through nonprofit support. Their Communities Foundation platform connects givers with causes they care about in a single easy-to-use platform.

The event helps build awareness and support for nonprofits like no other. In 2019, $50 million was raised through more than 169,000 gifts which benefitted almost 3,000 local nonprofits including Townview.

Since its inception in 2009, this online event has transformed from an idea to help local people give wisely, to a movement that has ignited a broad culture of community-wide giving. During North Texas Giving Day, everyone has the opportunity to be a philanthropist to build a stronger and more vibrant community.
